The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1,000+acre sanctuary owned by Mass Audubon. The sanctuary consists of a nature center with exhibits and saltwater aquariums, a butterfly garden, and 5 miles of hiking trails through pine woods, salt marsh, fields, and sandy beach. Educational programs such as lectures, field walks, cruises, canoe trips, and day camp are offered year-round for both adults and children.
